NOSS provides individual support for people with a disability to access various activities including education, employment, swimming, personal shopping, dancing, sports, theatrical events etc.  The list is endless.  NOSS supports clients on a one to one or staff client ratio or on a shared basis with one or two other people with similar interests.

All clients are offered assistance and support in the development of a Personal Plan which aims to promote social, physical, intellectual and emotional life skills.   The Personal Plan will include strategies to achieve meaningful individual client goals.

New clients

Information about accessing NOSS is available in our Entry Policy or by ringing 03 6334 4911. Funding may be available by applying to the Gateway on 1800 171 233 or, if you are aged between 15 and 24, through the NDIS by ringing the National Disability Insurance Agency on 1800 800 110. If you wish to apply for a place at NOSS, a Referral Form must be completed and submitted to the NOSS Office at 49 York Street, Launceston or faxed to 6334 4613.

NOSS' community access program is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services.
